The Pioneer Chapter Riders Club (PCRC) 26th Annual Rally was held August 13-17, 2025 celebrating 25 Years of the Pioneer Chapter.
Wednesday Aug 13 - People arrived from Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Illinois, and Indiana for the Pioneer Chapter Riders Club 26th Annual Rally at Harmony Country Lodge Inn. Meeting old and new friends is always great. Chinese dinner was provided to the attendees that evening by our host Nancy at the Country Lodge Inn! It was an Awesome Meal.
Thursday Aug 14 - We had a 240-mile day. We rode East from Harmony to the Mississippi River and stopped at the Dam Bar in Guttenberg IA for lunch. Then headed to The Field of Dreams in Dyersville IA our destination for the day. Some of the guys had a mini baseball game going on the Field. A beautiful day riding. On our way back we took the direct route to Atomic Pizza in Cresco IA where the Club bought pizza for all. Then we headed back to our base at Harmony for socialization at the motel - it was a great day/evening.
Friday Aug 15 - Anther Great Day at the Pioneer Chapter Riders Club (PCRC) Rally. The pie shop in Whalan MN was the morning stop, a Bloody Mary stop at Shawnee's Bar & Grill in Rushford was also made, and then lunch at JT's Corner Bar & Grill in Houston. An easy day only 110 miles thru the hills and Valleys of southeastern MN and northeastern IA. Followed by socialization back at the motel.
Saturday Aug 16 - We headed to Le Crescent MN and got rained on a bit so we then headed south out of the rain. We put 125 miles on - again the roads were great. We headed back early because of threatening weather. That evening we had our Super X Dinner at the Preston Branding Iron provided by the PCRC! Everybody ordered off the menu so they all had their choice of what they wanted for dinner. We had a super time back at the motel reminiscing about the week and past Rallies. Saturday night brought heavy rains in the area. Spring Valley MN got over 10 inches.
Sunday Aug 17 - Sunday morning we all headed home. The people heading South were headed in clear weather. Some of us waited a bit for the rain to stop before we headed West and North. On our way the road ditches near Spring Valley were full and the river we crossed was over flowing for sure.
Jim Rendahl was our Ride Captain for the Rally. As usual he did a fantastic job of taking us thru the hills and valleys of South Eastern Minnesota and North Eastern Iowa. There were beautiful roads/country everywhere he led us. All I can say is WOW!
The PCRC officers decided to give each attendee a new Pioneer Chapter Riders Club cap to Celebrate our 25 Years. Thanks to Dan Muller the caps turned out really nice.
It was decided at our member meeting Friday evening that the 2026 Pioneer Chapter Riders Club Rally will be held Aug 12-16 and based at the Country Lodge Inn Harmony MN again. Everybody really likes the Country Lodge Inn and Nancy is a Great Host. And, the riding in the area is 2nd to none!
I put 755 miles on and the attendees from MN, WI, SD, IL, and IN put lots more than that on to attend and participate in the Pioneer Chapter Riders Club Rally.
I'm already looking forward to next year's PCRC Rally!
