Plan on joining us at Tracy Mosness’ place overlooking Spearfish Canyon (email). Plan on arriving there about 4 PM. There’ll be burgers but BYOB if you want. Tracy lives on the top of the hill, behind the Spearfish City Campground. It is called Mountain Plains 2 Subdivision. The address is 392 Rim Rock Rd, Spearfish, SD 57783-8662.
Directions:
1) From Exit 14, proceed West into town until you come to the Hwy 14A intersection. (Golf course club house is on your immediate left)
2) Turn left onto 14A. This is usually a 3-way or temporary light during rally week.
3) Take the first right hand turn, and follow it to the Tee in the road. Turn Left. This street will wind up the hillside and turn into Pine Cone.
4) Stay on Pine Cone thru the 4-way stop (2.5 miles), until the road Tees again. You will turn left and go 200 feet, and turn left again onto Rim Rock Road.
5) Tracy lives at the end of the street, #392. You won't miss it. They have a big iron gate.
The roads are all paved, and there are many bikes in the neighborhood, so people are used to motorcycles during rally week. There are many roads in the subdivision; however, if you keep going "up the hill" -- on any of them, you will ultimately come to Rim Rock Road -- a small lane off to the left that leads to the edge of the cliff. Tracy’s house is on the edge of the cliff.
PLEASE PARK ON THE CEMENT! If it is 100 degrees out, the pavement can get a bit soft. There is plenty of cement space to park.
Plan on joining us at Wy’s Casino Bar in Central City about 1 PM. We’ve met there for several years now and it’s always an opportunity to met other Super X owners.
Join us at Gregg Forsberg’s 333 Saloon / Sand Creek Trading Post in Beulah about 3:33 PM MDT. Also take some time to go to Gregg’s Museum that he has set up in his garage at his home. He has a lot of E-H memorabilia that will interest you.
