We had a fun get-together for our Holiday Party. Waz showed off his new toy, you’ll have to ask him about it, and the hors d’oeuvres were great!

There was a short business meeting.

The 2007 Membership drive has started. John Jones (301 N Main St, Le Sueur MN 56058-4361) is our membership chairman. Dues are $20 again this year and you can renew on our website or send a check to John. So far 15 people have renewed their membership for 2007. Phil noted we now have a member in New Zealand.

The 2007 E-H Super X Rally will be held from August 1st thru August 4th which is during the week just before the Sturgis Rally.
There was general discussion about activities. We are talking with Brian Berhow about the Wednesday activities at Albert Lea. Options for the group ride on Friday or Saturday were discussed. And, there will likely be an organized ride from MN to Sturgis after our Rally leaving Le Sueur on August 5th.
WE HAVE BLOCKED 20 ROOMS AT THE LE SUEUR DOWNTOWN MOTEL, 507-665-6246, 510 North Main St. - arrival August 2nd with departure August 5th. So, contact them as soon as possible if you want to make your reservations there. The cost will be $42.60 for one queen bed and $51.12 for two queen beds. These prices include the tax.

Several ideas were discussed about what to have for the membership gift this year. Ideas included an oil dipstick cover, a plaque for the electrical cover, a license plate frame, or an embroidered t-shirt. Mike Hamann is doing some follow up and there will be further discussion at the next meeting.
