EH-Pioneer Chapter meeting minutes

The meeting was called to order by Director Phil Ward.

Other than membership dues, the only income we had was the sale of some patches. We paid the old website hosts for three month’s service, and have paid the first month’s service at the new host.

PayPal is now working and can be used to renew memberships. The membership gift this year will be a T-shirt. The back of the shirt will have the same logo as previous membership T-shirts. The pocket will say 100 years.
Remember to include your T-shirt size with your renewal. If you have already renewed, email Chuck your T-shirt size.
The club is hoping to have extra shirts for purchase.

Nominee Rick “Waz” Wawrzyniak was re-elected to position of Assistant Director. Nominee Mark “Felix” Mattson was elected Treasurer.
Changes in the by-laws will be:
- Nominations are moved from October to February
- Elections are moved from December to March
- Offices will be taken in April instead of March

Logo designs were viewed, and shirt designs were discussed. Shirt styles being considered are work/shop shirt style, and T-shirt. An apparel company is still being considered to handle sales. Estimated cost of rally shirts will be $20.00 for T-shirt and $40.00 for work shirt.
The Chapter has declined to sponsor Steve Herbst's calendar project. However, the Chapter does wish to support Steve in this endeavor. A group photo will be scheduled for Sat. July 9, 2005, for those interested in the project.
Motel List - Chuck is working on an updated motel list, to include locations in St. Peter and Le Sueur.
Rally Schedule - Albert Lea on Wednesday evening, poker run and evening meal on Friday, group rides, swap meet, bike show and pig roast on Saturday, and clean-up at the fairgrounds Sunday morning.
Ken Bretz will again be in charge of the award plaques for the bike show.
The rally pin bars will read: 2005 100 year centennial.

Steve Gish has found a showcase to display E-H memorabilia. The showcase will reside at John’s Repair in Le Sueur. The case measures approximately 4’L x 3’H x 18” deep.

Saturday, April 16. Gary Thomforde will be at the Harbor Bar in Hagar, WI on the Mississippi river from 10:30 to 11AM for people who want A Super X group to meet up with.
