New Business
-
There was discussion about moving the Web Site. Bob Gerhart talked
about the issues we are having with our current site and the plans for the new
site. He talked about having a "general" site and a "Members
only" site.
- There was discussion about the proposal by Steve Herbst for having
an E-H Rally Calendar made. The general consensus of the group was that it
was a good idea but too costly and that we shouldn't tie up our Pioneer
Chapter funds in something like this. One other main concern was the
experience we had with the Rally Picture Brochure that we made after the
first Rally and the hard time we had in moving that inventory. Once the
calendar year has gone by, we could have a lot of calendars in inventory
that are out dated with little to no interest in anyone purchasing them.
- Members should be aware that the Pioneer Chapter owns a set of tools that
can be checked out and used to work on their bikes.
- Mark (Felix) Mattson indicated that he had several OEM air filters and
that he would sell them for $10 including shipping.
- John Jones reported that he and Jamie Jones were at
Phoenix
and got all the parts they felt they needed.
They still can get parts from Swift if have to.
John indicated he is still using the 99 parts prices except for
custom made parts. John also
indicated he bought out all the remaining McCarthy cams.
He said his web site will be www.JohnsSuperx.com
The meeting was adjourned at 2:50 PM. The
next meeting will be March 20th, 1 PM at a place to be determined.
