The meeting was held at John’s Repair, LeSueur, MN and called to order by Director Phil Ward.
· In the last month, we had income from two new members and the sale of two patches. We paid for our Internet domain name renewal for three years and last month’s meeting meal.
· Current membership is at 166.
· Tim Breidenbach, the 2005 Rally Chair (breidenbach@redred.com), reported that he and Chuck Barsness have been in contact with Keith Peters, president of The Viking Chapter, Antique MC Club of America regarding the possibility of coordinating their meet (June 23-26, 2005) and our Rally.
o This could include co-locating the Rally with the Viking Chapter’s meet, which might be mutually beneficial both financially and in widening the scope of events available to attendees like the Thursday ride from Albert Lea.
o It’s also possible that the Viking Chapter could theme their event around the Excelsior-Henderson 100th Anniversary. The Viking Chapter will vote on the 2005 theme in November.
· Considering the possibility that we might coordinate with the Viking Chapter, it was suggested that we schedule our Rally for June 23-26, 2005. We need to schedule the Rally soon so our attendees can set up their vacation time, so we will vote at the next meeting in October. This will give people a chance to express their opinions on the matter. Rally location can be determined later.
· In case we do not co-locate our Rally with the Viking Chapter meet in Farmington, we will continue to explore other location options. The Pioneer Power grounds, near LeSueur, is a good site. We’ll find out the rental details like price and availability.
· December Meeting - A reminder that the December meeting will be an informal Holiday get-together at a Cities-area establishment and will likely be on a Saturday late afternoon/evening early in December.
· Officer Elections for Assistant Director and Treasurer will be held at the February meeting, with the new officers starting their terms on March 1st . Nominations will be accepted at the December and the January meetings.
· Chapter Jackets - Phil Ward will continue research into the company that provides jackets, shirts, and the like to members of organizations like ours.
